Today, attending my Aunt Estelle Henderson's funeral I was so grateful for the care, courtesy and professionalism that was shown to our family and especially my cousin Micah who was like a daughter to her. At the cemetery she was presented a rose with some of the dirt from my Aunt Estelle's grave. It was presented to her on behalf of the Funeral Home. This was and is so special. To be given such a beautiful gift in remembrance of your loved one is so precious and so appreciated. Thank you to the staff that made us all feel special and made sure we all were okay. You really do take care of the family.

With the unexpected passing of my Father, Gene R. Mabrey on May 6, 2016, I found myself wondering who to call to handle his final disposition. His wish was to be cremated. His caretaker suggested Moore-Cortner and I am so thankful I took her advice. Jennifer Jackson is the representative I dealt with and she did such a fantastic job on getting things done. The urn I had picked out turned out beautifully. I knew it would have Dads name and the dates on it and the word Pop but had asked Jennifer if they had an Indian Chief they could put on it too as my Dad loved Indian history and was called The Chief at his job for many years. When I picked it up today I was so happy to see she had made that happen. Everyone I came in contact with from the home was so friendly and helpful. Brenda saw to it that we had everything she could give us as far as memorial flyers, registry book, celebration candle etc, Mr Jim Cortner was so very friendly and helpful. You never want to have to deal with a funeral home but the folks at Moore-Cortner did everything possible to make this experience as easy for my as possible and I would definitely suggest them to any family who found themselves in need of their services. Thank you to all that staff their who had a part in taking care of my Dad and helping me to make the arrangements!! God Bless you!!
