Joan Enez Durm Baker, age 75 of Winchester, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. A native of Franklin County, she was born on February 7, 1942 to the late John Edward and Edith Norris Durm. Before her retirement, Joan was employed by South Central Bell and as Church Secretary at Owl Hollow Church of Christ, where she was an active member. She loved getting together with her family, especially her "Cousin Trips" every spring and fall that her cousin H.B. Norris started, and attending church gatherings. Joan is survived by her husband, David Butch Baker of Winchester; sons, Robb (Alysia) Baker and Junior (Karen) Throneberry, both of Winchester; sister, Judy Waldron of Estill Springs; brothers, Rex (Sue) Durm of Winchester, Robin (Joyce) Durm of Winchester, and Billy (Barbara) Durm of Lynchburg; grandchildren, Laura Max, Justin (Kristin) Throneberry, Brad Throneberry, Corey Throneberry, and Kaylee Throneberry; and great-granddaughter, Kailynn Throneberry; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Friday and 1-2 PM Saturday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 14, 2017 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Bro. Randy Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens.
